Date: Begins 21st July
Theme: God’s Heart for the Lost
Through the theme “God’s Heart for the Lost,” we aim to share God’s desire for the salvation of people from every nation and to connect with those in our own community who are searching for faith.
Each week, we will explore a different passage, uncovering the depth of God’s love and calling:
- 21 July: Genesis 12:1-3 – Discover God’s calling of and promise to Abraham, setting the foundation for His mission.
- 28 July: 2 Kings 5 – Reflect on the story of Naaman’s leprosy and God’s healing power.
- 4 August: Jonah 3-4 – Delve into God’s mercy on the Ninevites and His compassion for all people.
- 11 August: Psalm 116 (especially v.15) – A slight tangent focusing on God’s heart for the persecuted.
- 18 August: John 4 – Encounter the Samaritan woman at the well and witness God’s reach across cultural divides.
- 25 August: Revelation 7:9-17 – Be inspired by the vision of the countless multitude from every nation, standing before God’s throne.
Our series will feature insightful messages from our mission partners, alongside Simon King and Dave Davison. Though each speaker will bring their unique perspective and style, the unifying thread will be the exploration of God’s immense love for the lost and His call for us to share in that mission.
Let’s embark on this mission together, sharing in God’s heart for the lost.
