As a church we hold a Week of Prayer twice a year, once in January as the year begins and again in the summer before the school holidays.
Our next week of prayer is scheduled for Monday 6th – Sunday 12th July 2026. There are many different ways you can join in prayer with us.
We will meet on zoom in the mornings for a 30 minute prayer time, before the working day starts (for most of us), and again in the evening for an in person meeting in the church. We will also be taking our prayers to the streets with a series of prayer walks.
We will pray for the Mission and ministries of Freshbrook Church, for its people and those in our community and our town. We will also be praying for our mission partners, both those local and those serving internationally.

Midday Prayer Walks
We plan to go further afield this time, just so that our horizon does not become myopic! We’ll head toward the edges of territory that God has placed the church in. We’ll go by car (only takes a few minutes) and then we’ll do our prayer walk.
Family and Young People Prayers
We are trying something new to encourage families and young people to pray together! We have a couple of events on Fri, 10/Jul:
- Families’ prayer activity time from 6pm. Come and stay as long as you want!
- Young people interactive prayer zone in the youth lounge between 7:30 pm – 10 pm. Again, come and stay as long as you want!
