Easter is many different things to different people. It is too some, a much needed holiday; to others a challenge for what to do with the kids when they’re off school for two weeks; it is chocolate and bunnies to others; and to some it is a religious festival – not unlike the many other religious festivals that are held throughout the year. To the Christian, it is a time of remembrance and gratitude at the love of God expressed in the death of His Son Jesus for the sins of the world, and a time of wonder and celebration that the horrors of Good Friday were followed by the inexpressible joy at Jesus resurrection from the dead on Easter Sunday!
If you, like so many others, are wondering about the meaning of life and searching for hope and purpose, why not come and join us for our Easter services? You will have the opportunity to hear the biblical and historical account of the events that took place in Jerusalem nearly 2000 years ago and to contemplate how they may be the answer to what you feel is missing in your life!
Whatever stage of life you are in you will be made most welcome. Refreshments will be served after each service. If you’d like to know more then please get in touch here: https://www.freshbrook.org/about/contact-us/
