We invite you to join us on Sunday 9th November in remembering and commemorating the lives of those who have served and continue to serve to protect the freedoms we all enjoy; those who died giving everything, and those who fight their battles over and over again, still giving everything!
We will also be marking the 80th anniversaries of VE & VJ Day. Following the service, folks will be invited to stay and join us for a church lunch (more details will follow nearer the time). As part of the occasion we would like to hear from anyone who celebrated the original VE and VJ Day. It would be lovely to be able to share some of those stories on the day with all those for whom WWII is a matter of history rather than personal memory.
