Phil is living proof that Jesus still saves tax collectors and sinners (well, almost – he was a tax advisor before training for ministry)! He joined Freshbrook Church in 2023 to lead the work of preaching and teaching, but also has a heart for prayer, pastoral care, developing sung worship and helping people outside the church discover how amazing Jesus is.
Phil trained for ministry at Oak Hill College and served as an assistant pastor for 3 years in Oxford. When not working on church business, he enjoys spending time with family, good food, singing and getting out in the countryside on foot or on the bike.
