SUMMARY:A report on our most recent Women's Ministry Pancake Event
DESCRIPTION:\nA Morning of Worship\, Fellowship\, and Pancakes. \nThe even
 t took place on the 19th October. Until we create the webpage to share mor
 e of our events we have left this event open over a period of weeks for yo
 u to read the report and be encouraged and blessed.\n\nRecently\, the wome
 n of Freshbrook Church gathered for a special Women’s Ministry event tha
 t was a great success—combining worship\, fellowship\, and\, of course\,
  plenty of pancakes!  The morning began with a friendly and cheerful welc
 ome as everyone arrived\, eager for the day ahead.\n\n\n\nBefore the panca
 kes were served\, we had a wonderful time of worship.  Megan led us in t
 wo beautiful songs:"Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" and "Yet Not I but Throug
 h Christ in Me."  The atmosphere was filled with praise\, and our fantas
 tic band—featuring a piano\, electric bass\, and guitar—added a specia
 l touch.  The heartfelt music reminded us all that the Lord appreciates a
 ny joyful sound!\n\n\n\nAfter the worship\, we were privileged to hear fro
 m Becca Whittaker\, who shared a thoughtful message from Luke 10. Becca 
 spoke about Mary and Martha\, two sisters with different ways of respondin
 g to Jesus.  She encouraged us to take time\, like Mary\, to sit at Jesus
 ’ feet\, especially when life feels busy and overwhelming.  It was a ti
 mely reminder to pause and focus on what really matters.  For those of us
  who’ve felt a bit like Martha lately—always busy with tasks—it was 
 the perfect encouragement to slow down and spend time in Jesus’ presence
 .\n\n\n\nThen it was time for the pancakes! Everyone was invited to head t
 o the back of the church\, where Rachel and Tanya were busy making sure 
 the pancakes were cooked to perfection.  The women lined up\, chatting an
 d laughing as they waited for their food\, creating a lovely atmosphere of
  friendship and community.\n\n\n\nIt was a chance to enjoy good food and g
 reat company\, strengthening the bonds within our church.  The Women’s 
 Ministry Pancake Event was a fantastic morning\, full of blessings. From t
 he worship led by Megan\, to Becca Whittaker’s encouraging talk\, and th
 e delicious pancakes provided by Rachel and Tanya\, it was a time well spe
 nt.  We’re grateful to everyone who came and supported the event\, and 
 we look forward to many more in the future.\n\n\n\nAs always\, these event
 s are made possible through the kind support of our church members. Attend
 ees were reminded that if they’d like to help us continue organising the
