Week of Prayer 2022 – Day 6

Saturday

D2D Team – Ray C

  • For the Spirit to blow in the direction of Freshbrook and Grange Park. Nobody comes to faith without him
  • Hearing God’s prompting as we engage with people on the doors
  • For the seeds already sown (conversations and literature) to grow even while we sleep (Mark 4:26-29)
  • Ultimately, we want hundreds and hundreds of people saved in our community!

Men’s curry club – Ray C

  • The blessing of enjoying each other’s company
  • For friends and neighbours to feel free to join us
  • For this to metamorphosise into more of an outreach opportunity

Catering – Nic Cox

  • Prayer for wisdom and grace as we oversee the vital work of the catering team in supporting many of our outreach and social events throughout the year.

Alpha – Graham Bennett

  • Pray for the guests from the most recent course, that they will continue to grow in tier daily walk with the Lord.
  • For Wisdom as we look to disciple this group through the Bible Course in coming weeks and integrate them into the wider fellowship.
  • For wisdom in planning a program for future courses.  Particularly for staffing and guests. 

Each Day

Following the commissioning of Dave Davison, pray:

  • that he settles well into his new role as Lead Pastor.
  • that he clearly hears and follows God’s leading.
  • that he follows Jesus model of servant leadership.

  • Pray for our search for an Associate Pastor
  • That God would lead us to the right man.
  • That God would prepare the way for a smooth transition.
  • That God would unite the leadership team with a common purpose and understanding of His will.
