Folks are already beginning to gather together to watch in the community the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queens Elizabeth II. Freshbrook Church would like to invite you to join us this morning to pay our respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign while marking the final day of the period of national mourning. Whilst much of the day will be broadcast, the coffin procession is scheduled to leave Westminster Hall at 10.44 am and the State Funeral service will be broadcast live from Westminster Abbey at 11 am. We will open the doors of the church at 10.00 am and will show the funeral service on the large screens in the church.
There will be a Book of Condolences available and time and opportunity for folks to reflect on the Queen’s passing and perhaps on their own grieving as they recall the passing of their own loved ones.
