Listening to our new pastor, John Edmonds, in his first Sunday evening address you get the sense of someone who has hit the ground running, that ideas have been mulled over, debated and prayed over, and now the starting gun has been fired and there is no time to lose in getting out of the blocks. Indeed, John has discussed these things with the elders, John spoke of changes that are "driven by vision and purpose" and not "style and taste". The vision is one that he shares with the elders of the church, and the purpose is driven by the Bible and the Gospel.
