As you can see from our 'History' page, a church has been meeting in Freshbrook since 1981.  What we have today is so different from what was present at the beginning, but our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ has not changed.

We are a Bible-believing church and seek each day to be a Bible-practising church. Our understanding of the church is that "it is not a pond to fish in, but a boat to fish from".   We come in for food and fellowship and out for service and living.

A friend of mine speaks of "walking the old paths with new shoes".  That is what we try and do.  We have to live in the 21st Century for this is our generation, but we must not let the culture of our day squeeze us into its mould.  It is God's word that should shape us in every department of our lives.

Week by week we systematically study another section of God's word.  On a personal level, I am currently on my 39th and 40th books after 24 years of preaching!
