We are a group of ordinary people who love the Lord Jesus and try to help each other live for him day by day. We meet together from time to time to worship God, to learn from the Bible, to pray and to encourage one another and we get involved in our community to share the love and good news of Jesus.
We are linked to the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Churches), and our life and worship are based on the Truth that is found in the Bible (See ‘What we believe‘).
If you live locally or are just visiting the area we warmly invite you to join us in learning more about Jesus.
We meet on a Sunday morning at 10.00am and again at 6.00 for 6.30pm to worship, pray and study God’s word. During the morning service, children and young people up to the age of 15 go out for their own groups. We also run a crèche for babies/toddlers up to 3 years old. Our evening service is the more informal of our services. We begin with refreshments and a time to mix. The aim of this service is to encounter God, experience his empowering presence in our worship and in his unchanging word the Bible. Praise is contemporary, there is opportunity to receive prayer and time is given to share what God is saying through each other.
We also meet on Tuesday evenings. Twice a month we meet at the main building at 8pm. One of these meetings is a time to pray for each other, for the life of the church and for the wider community. The other is a either a time to celebrate communion and remember that Jesus died for our sins and rose again or a meeting where we hear from someone taking the good news out into the community at home or abroad. On the other two Tuesdays in the month we meet in small groups in homes to worship, pray and look at the bible together. You are welcome to visit one of these home groups.
